Appointments
Yuri Isayev has been appointed managing director
at Russian Aluminum responsible for government relations. He has
also become a member of the board of directors. From June to
November 2004, Isayev worked as an adviser to the first deputy to
the head of the Federal Security Service. Isayev's career started
at Rossiisky Kredit Bank, where he held a variety of positions from
economist to president and chairman of the bank. He then headed
Impex Bank from June 2002, before becoming deputy minister of
economic development and trade.
Metropol
Alexander
Selegenev has joined the British affiliate of Metropol Limited as
managing director of corporate finance and head of equity capital
markets. Prior to joining Metropol, Selegenev was operational in
establishing the international corporate finance and M&A
department of Teather and Greenwood. Selegenev has also worked for Daiwa
SMBC and Sumitomo Bank in London.
Norilsk Nickel
David Humphreys has become chief economist at
Norilsk Nickel after 18 years at London-based Rio Tinto. Humphreys
will carry out his duties in London and will provide advice to the
management board and senior management on the global metals and
mining industry and will assist in formulating and implementing
strategy.
