Director General of IFC METROPOL M.V. Slipenchuk was awarded a Certificate of Russian Records Book.
The Certificate establishes that M.V. Slipenchuk has contributed
to the setting up the record of Russia "The Biggest Height of
Thermal Dirigible Lifting" - 8199 m.
This record was set up on August, 17, 2006 in Egorievsky district,
Moscow region, by an aeronaut S. Fedorov on the dirigible "Polar
Goose". The flight was fulfilled in the framework of "High Start"
program, sponsors of which were METROPOL Group and Russian
Aeronautics Society with participation of the Arctic Projects Fund.
At present the record is submitted for the registration in the
"Guinness Book of Records".
