A luxurious present to MGU on the 250th anniversary. IFC METROPOL sponsored the publication of seven volumes of scientific work by MSU’s geography department

Graduates of Moscow State University’s geography department congratulated the university on its 250th anniversary by publishing the unique jubilee seven volumes of scientific work compiling the results of geographical research during the past millennium.

Though all the volumes are united by a common idea, each volume is a separate work. Therefore, different, even controversial views, are represented. The works created a foundation for further scientific developments.

The books are published on art paper with full binding and gold stamping. This was made possible by the Gorodets publishing house and IFC METROPOL that sponsored the publication. IFC METROPOL General Director Mikhail Slipenchuk, a graduate of the geography department, devoted the edition to the whole faculty as a token of his respect and gratitude.
