On 20 June the Asian phase of the All-Russian Mini-Lapta Tournament for children was completed in Ulan-Ude.
The winners and runners-up were awarded at the Central Stadium of the Republic of Buryatia. Medals and trophies were handed out by Robert Yagafarov, member of the Presidium of the Russian Lapta Federation and the head judge of the tournament.
The Rus girls’ team (Seversk, Tomsk Region) and the Irtysh boys’ team (Omsk Region) won the Golden Bat tournament. The first and second runners-up were the Steklozavod and Rostok girls’ teams and Bey-Begi and Energetic boys’ teams.
At the opening ceremony, the teams were greeted by Dmitry Dorosh, First Vice President of the Russian Lapta Federation, Bair Dashibalzhirov, Director of DSPW RAPCS (Department of Social Preventive Work of the Republican Agency for Physical Culture and Sports), and Bair Tsyrenov, Director for Regional Activities of IFC METROPOL.  They greeted the teams, wished them good luck in an honest and uncompromising competition. METROPOL sponsored the tournament and arranged a trip to Lake Baikal for all team members.  

A class on healthy lifestyle was held as part of the Asian phase of the Golden Bat All-Russian Mini-Lapta Tournament for guest teams from Omsk and Tomsk. Guests and participants in the tournament took a tour around the Ivolginsky datsan.
