According to the official site of the LSE, since 15th of October, 2007 the company METROPOL (UK) has security trading privilege in the status of the market-maker.
METROPOL (UK) acts as an agent on trading in shares of local and foreign companies, and has access to the International Order Book (IOB).
Settlement for transactions is carried out by the Euroclear Bank. Settlement for IOB transactions is carried out by METROPOL (UK) via IFC "МЕТROPOL" on the basis of the mutual settlements contract.
Currently METROPOL (UK) is a market-maker of three companies quoted on AIM: Zirax (ZRX), Teleset Networks (TNW) and International Marketing and Sales Group Plc. (IMSG). In the near future the range of securities quoted by METROPOL (UK) will be expanded.
