Hatsuo Royama, Japan’s karate champion, the prizewinner of the World Championship, the winner of a number of competitions and the President of the International Kyokushinkan Karate-do Organization, has become a legend for karate lovers and experts. His books, “My life is karate,” is one of the most popular autobiographies. The two books were published in Russia through the assistance of IFC METROPOL.

On December 16, 2004 Hatsuo Royama met his admirers in the Marshal Arts Palace in Kashirskoye highway. The entrance was free and everyone had a chance not only to meet Royama, but also to get his autograph. Then Hatsuo Royama traveled to Podolsk where he judged the Cup of Nations tournament which was attended by athletes from over 15 countries.
