METROPOL Group of Companies Steps Up Its Business in Transbaikalia
Transbaikal Territory Governor R.F. Geniatulin held on 20
January 2011 a working meeting with a delegation of METROPOL Group
of Companies headed by IFC METROPOL Deputy General Director I.Kh.
Salimov.
“We have proclaimed 2011 a year of investment generation. We are
starting this year with contacts with large companies”, stressed
the Transbaikalia Governor.
The meeting was also attended by Deputy Chairmen of the Government
of the Transbaikal Territory Е.V. Vishnyakov and А.А. Kholmogorov,
and Director for Public and International Relations of IFC
METROPOL, member of the Board of Directors of MBC Corporation B.D.
Tsyrenov.
The meeting was devoted to discussing current and prospective
issues facing METROPOL Group of Companies in the Transbaikal
Territory, including preparation of a bid to be filed with the
Investment Fund of the Russian Federation under the project of
Transbaikalia Integrated Development. A special focus was made on
the progress of the heating season at the Pervomayskaya Heat Power
Plant.
The itinerary of the Transbaikalia business trip of the
delegation of METROPOL Group of Companies included visits to the
city of Chita and the urban-type settlement of Pervomaysky in the
Shilkinsky District.
