The transaction on sale by METROPOL Group of companies of its shares of holding «Russian accumulators» to the second large shareholder of the holding «Power International» took place. As a result «Power International» became the owner of 80 % of shares of the largest accumulator holding in Russia.

The management of METROPOL Group considers the transaction to be a success. As financial structure, METROPOL carried out organizing and structuring of the holding. Today the Group plans to invest the means in new perspective projects. Making a decision on sale of the part of holding, the management of Group of the companies considered some variants. However with a view of optimization of business the decision on sale of actions to the second large holder of actions was accepted.

The company «Power International» will continue construction of highly effective business on manufacture of accumulators with the subsequent conclusion of «Russian accumulators» to the financial markets, including possible IPO.
The transaction took place proceeding from an estimation of the holding «Russian accumulators» in 100 million US dollars.
