IFC METROPOL pays great attention to financial cooperation with industrial enterprises. The partnership relations with Power International, a leader in battery supply to the Russian automobile market, paved the way for the creation of the Russian Battery Group.

The Group includes six battery plants and business units developing and introducing new technologies, and distributing products. The Groups's share in the battery market accounts for 40%. The Group has established long-lasting partnership relations with manufactures and clients, has vast experience in domestic and international markets, deep knowledge of battery markets in Russia and abroad.

Industrial investments are also used to manufacture and sell food products. On the base of a Togliatti cold storage facility, a Group producing and selling food products was set up.

With international demand high at present for mined commodities, IFC METROPOL has formed the mining and metallurgical group East-Siberian Metals (MBC). The aims of the company include developing major complex ore deposits, constructing an integrated mining works, as well as transport and industrial infrastructure — both upstream and downstream operations.

Subsidiaries of IFC METROPOL have won a number of tenders announced by the Ministry of Natural Resources of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Republic of Buryatia for the right to develop mineral resource deposits in the Republic of Buryatia.

The implementation of the project will improve the economic and investment climate in the region, ensure the growth of the social sphere, expand the tax base of the Republic of Buryatia and strengthen the trade and industrial ties with foreign countries, primarily, China and Japan.
